Text Message (SMS) Program Terms
Torah Umesorah uses text messages to keep Convention registrants informed. This page describes the program so you know exactly what you are agreeing to when you opt in.
Program description
When you register for the 70th Annual National Leadership Convention you may choose to receive text messages from Torah Umesorah for customer service, session updates, schedule changes, check-in details, and Convention information. Messages are sent only to registrants who opt in.
How you opt in
On the registration form, next to your phone number, there is a checkbox that reads: “I agree to receive text messages from Torah Umesorah for customer service, session updates, and convention information. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.” The box is unchecked by default. Checking it is optional and is not a condition of registering or purchasing anything.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with Convention activity, typically a few messages in the weeks before the Convention and several per day during it. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
How to opt out or get help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact the Convention Office at 212-227-1000 or convention@torahumesorah.org.
Privacy
Your phone number and your text-message consent are used only for this program. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Torah Umesorah records the date and time of your consent for compliance purposes.
